I recently purchased a 3DLabs Permedia II (PM200A 8Mb AGP) graphics card
which has caused nothing but problems. I've tried all the latest drivers
from 3DLabs, alpha, beta and release, but they all seem to have minor
problems. When I wanted to run some of my Allegro code - oh boy. Great if
you like 640x480x8, but I don't!

I've tried using the only DOS drivers available (to my knowledge) from the
web - specifically SciTech SDD to produce a Permedia II vbeaf.drv (as
recommended in one of the Allegro files), but I still can't get access to
any decent modes (upwards of 8bpp) unless I run through Win95.

Any suggestions (apart from buy a new video card!) most appreciated.
