Option 1) Try setting your video board to emulate hercules mode (text mode 7). Option 2) Step by step: a) Start RHIDE, if no project is in this directory you'll get the about box, so just press ENTER to close it. b) Now press Alt+O (Options) c) Press E (Environment) d) Press ENTER (Colors is the first option) e) The colors dialog will pop-up, it have three columns, the first is the object you want to customize, the second is which thing of the object you want and the third is the color palette. The content of the first column (in case you can't see it) is: Desktop Menues Blue Windows Cyan Windows Gray Windows Dialogs Blue Editors Cyan Editors Gray Editors InfoViewer Disassembler Data Window You should start with the Menues or Dialogs options. Pressing tab you can pass from one column to the next. In the lower right corner you'll see a color sample. You can choose the foreground color (upper half of the palette column) and/or the background color (lower half) using the mouse (enclose RHIDE in a window to see the mouse pointer if it isn't visible in full screen).
