That doesn't make any > sense... > > -Mike Mike, sorry i don't know the correct terminology, i mean that what i prefer is a text editor running under win9x eg. like notepad or pfe. rhide is what i think is called a "dos box". i don't doubt it's functionality technically as an ide, but i was looking for maybe something like dfe95, but it seems like dfe95 is not supported and the dfe95 site most pointed to has a message tantamount to "scram". But listen, I don't know squat, I going to do another post because i haven't even been able to get my 1st "hello world" prog. to compile, and need help. Lee
