The problem is caused by RHIDE incorrectly asking for libstdcx.a instead of libstdcxx.a. *The* correct solution is to make it stop doing this, which is what the FAQ describes how to do. Copying is a workaround, not a fix. It will make the problem go away, but it needlessly uses disk space and will cause problems if you upgrade libstdcxx someday and forget to copy again. -- Nate Eldredge nate AT cartsys DOT com
