I was thinking about DoubleSpacing my hard drive a few months ago and
read about that kind of a result, it really depends on how fast your
processor is compared to you disk. If you have a fast processor it's
better to have compressed files. Like you said they'll load faster since
it has to read less of the disk, however, if you have a slow processor
it could make it take longer than without compression obviously.
