I have the commands in both ASCII and Hex. I am trying to write a check printing program where the computer controls the printer completely, and where the fonts do not have to be set manually. I am using the DJGPP program and so far have had no luck. I tried the Faq's and several books on C but to no avail. I have used the commands `fprintf(stdprn, "string")' and also ` fprintf(":lpt1", "command string")' It seems the only way to use the printer is with BASIC which is what I am trying to avoid if possible. I would appreciate any help on this problem. Thank you Vince McCarthy. ___________________________________________________________________ Get the Internet just the way you want it.
