The main problem is the boot sequence, if the computer starts you can then: 1) Map the Trident registers in memory (Using the PCI stuff). 2) Put the mode in hercules mode (there are VGA registers for it). 3) Map the I/O ports in I/O space again, but this time in the hercules region. But all of this is supposing you won't have a collision between the 2 BIOSes. I know some people of the GGI project tried with S3 boards just removing the BIOS of one of the boards. But you must do some low level stuff and as hercules and MDA boards are trashed is easier to just get on of them ;-) SET -- Salvador Eduardo Tropea (SET).
