I'm currently using DJGPP/ALLEGRO to make a 3D game like DOOM. I want to now code a map editor for the game, however, I think that DOS isn't the best place to do it, as I want to use the menus, buttons etc. in Windows. I've heard that RSXNTDJ is a Windows version of DJGPP (or something like that!) Where can I get it from? Is it easy to code a windows program? I know nothing about windows programmer, but Im really good with DJGPP/Allegro in DOS. Can you experts help me out? 1. Where can I download RSXNTDJ from? 2. Where can I get installation instructions. 3. Once installed, how can I find out how to use it? 4. Is it really hard to code in windows? Where can I find tutorials from? 5. Once I make a windows program, can I use it on other machines just like that? Or do I need DLL's and things ... HELP! Thanks in advance!
