Upon SET's suggestion I downloaded the beta version to fix what I thought was a bug in 1.4 - my Make, Run etc. menus were greyed out. It seemed to work at first. But then when I saved my options as Rhide.gpr (in my working directory /data/djgpp/programs) it again did not work - and instead opened up a project everytime. So in order to Run or Make anything, I have to first close the project, then re-open the file I wish to make or run. Is there any solution for saving your options? I tried doing as had been suggested a few months ago and simply exiting Rhide without saving (supposedly it would save your preferences) but this simply disregarded my preferences. It seems the only solution, which is the same with 1.4, is to open up an instance of Rhide within the /djgpp/bin directory, set the options for the editor, save the options as Rhide.gpr, exit, and reopen Rhide in another working directory. Can anyone confirm that I am doing things correctly? Thanks, Stuart ---- Stuart Hall Connecticut, USA * return address: f p r i n t f @ i n a m e . c o m *
