Your link doesn't give any information. This is a Forward: Subject: OpenPTC 1.0 ! Date: Fri, 19 Mar 1999 05:16:03 +1000 From: "Gaffer" Organization: Scene.org - The Scene Service Provider Newsgroups: coders.ptc.development, coders.ptc, coders.ptc.announce I have just uploaded the very first implementations if the new OpenPTC 1.0 standard: Win32 and Java. You can find them at http://www.gaffer.org/openptc/download/distributions/win32 and http://www.gaffer.org/openptc/download/distributions/java. Please download them and try them out, we need to have these distributions thoroughly tested asap. Tell your friends who use PTC about the releases too, we need to get as many testers as possible, i want to get the Win32 and Java implementations working perfectly and to do this, i need bug reports! suggestions for features, complaints, whatever! please help out =) NOTE: the distributions are released in both zip and tar.gz format. unless you are using unix, you want to get the zip file! (tar.gz contains unix style text file formatting...) I will be updating the website tomorrow to announce the new OpenPTC 1.0 standard and the new implementations. When this occurs the OpenPTC website will be moved from www.gaffer.org/openptc to www.gaffer.org/ptc. So if the links above dont work, change the 'openptc' to 'ptc'. Have fun the new releases and remember - within a week we should have implementations for dos and unix as well! cheerio! -- gaffer.xtatic "ignorance is euphoria"
