If I may add my add my two cents in here, I think that using another format (i.e. not Zip) may be a good idea. First off, there's the obvious benefit of saving download time, which is a Good Thing. But, it would also eliminate the installing woes that many people seem to be having. It seems that a number of people are having trouble setting up DJGPP because: 1. The Unzip program is bungling the LFNs, or 2. Not restoring the directory structure, so, if say, a not-so-common compression scheme is used, people will be forced to download a decompression program from wherever they get everything else, it can be assured that LFNs and directory structures are handled correctly (since no one will be able to use a braindead program) Well, hope this makes sense.
