I cannot reproduce this problem. All of the above ways work for me, as I'd expect. Did you by any chance try this on Windows NT? If so, you should know that DJGPP doesn't support long file names on NT (NT doesn't support the special LFN API that lets DOS programs access long file names). If it's Windows 9X, then maybe you have an old and buggy version of the ported Bash? The binaries that are on SimTel now are okay.
