I'm not sure what you were referring to, since you didn't quote the
original message (you can imagine that I write too many messages to be
able to remember any of them by heart ;-).

But if you are talking about the debug support being tailored to COFF,
then yes, this is one of the issues that will need to be resolved if
DJGPP ever switches to another object file format.  See section 22.21
of the FAQ for more details.
