I think your problem is that 'xterm-rhide' doesn't even exist or have something very wrong (like not compiled). Also: I improved the look of TVision under X, now the frames of the windows looks as frames and aren't just ASCII art ;-) Additionally: I don't recomend using xterm terminal, try another X terminal. Eterm is excellent. Currently I'm not improving TVision to run in X terminals because I don't have time for it, but if you want to help I can tell you what's needed. My plan is to fully support Eterm, that's the only X terminal I know that can report most of the keys (if not all). But for that I need to extend the ncurses functionallity.
