Perhaps someone here could help me. I dowloaded the files recommened by the Zip Picker. When I decompressed them most of the files were fine, but two gxx.exe and cxxfilt.exe tried to overwrite an existing one. This is obviously becuase each of them occur in two separte zips. My problem is which one do I keep? I've tried the obvious things - the files are different as even though they show the same version number they have very different file sizes. Has anyone else had these problems. I don't know exactly wha relies on these programs so I don't what to use the wrong version and so mess up a program which depends on these files. Here are the details of the two files: CXXFILT.EXE from bnu281b.zip archive: cxxfilt.exe 31/12/97 55,808 bytes version 2.8.1 from gpp281b.zip archive: cxxfilt.exe 06/06/98 65,024 bytes version 2.81 GXX.EXE from djdev202.zip archive: gxx.exe 13/12/98 70,144 bytes version 2.81 from gpp281b.zip archive gxx.exe 22/10/98 132,096 version 2.81 Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Finally, has anyone any hints on whether to set the DJGPP environment label using UNIX forward or DOS back slashes? Steven Murdoch (sjmurdoch AT usa DOT net)
