If setting up DJGPP brings you into trouble, are you sure you really want to be a programmer ? You're gonna face instructions in _way_ more than 20 different places ;) > please do this for me; i really want to get the compiler and program. I really can't believe its that hard to you. When I first got DJGPP, everything worked from the beginning (well, at least the setup ;) ) and there wasn't even the zip-picker yet ! Get all the files you need using the zip- picker (can't go wrong there). Read the README.1ST file ! Unzip all of them into a directory of your choice. Write a batch-file (or change your AUOEXEC.BAT) that sets the \BIN dir on the PATH and sets DJGPP's enviroment- variable (two instructions, not 20). Run it. If you also get allegro: unzip it to a sub-dir, go there and run make. Thats it. Christian.
