This magic happens because Windows loads something called conagent.exe in 
each VM before COMMAND.COM (or any DOS program that you run directly, 
like by clicking on its file name, or via START->RUN).  conagent.exe is a 
Win32 console application that acts as a proxy on behalf of the DOS 
program in the same VM.
