If you remember thomas djafari's test, I get these numbers: DJGPP v 2.7.2.1 4234 millions clocks 3170 millions clocks my djgpp 2.7.2.1 3828 millions clocks 2749 millions clocks PGCC 1.0.1 3132 mil clocks 2574 mil clocks gcc 2.8.1 486 4183 millions clocks 2422 millions clocks Did you get a performance increase when you switched to gcc 2.8.1? Especially with Allegro, what happened? Should I stick to PGCC? also, I'm confused about GCC 2.8.1 and DJGPP 2.02. what is the difference? Can I get DJGPP 2.02 and still use GCC 2.7.2.1 or PGCC? Finally, how can I get the max performance with DJGPP and Allegro on a P133? (which GCC version, 2.7.2.1, 2.8.1 or PGCC 1.0.1, which BNU version, which DJGPP version, 2.01 or 2.02 ?) Thank you (this is important for me)
