When I either run "login.bat" (from WinNT) or "source _bashrc" (from bash prompt) the editor gets spawned. I can work around the problem by simply not defining EDITOR, and it doesn't lose me anything. I'm just wondering if there is something I'm missing that would prevent this. Or is this a consequence of running under WinNT.
