I realize I could use instead, but what I really wanted was numeric_limits. I checked the mail archives and found somebody else complaining about the same thing, but as far as I could tell, nobody posted a satisfactory answer. I'm pretty sure I've installed everything correctly. Is there some special reason isn't there? I thought it was part of the standard.
