I don't understand your opinion in all aspects so I will try to give some more description about the new mailing list. The RHIDE mailing list is NOT a replacement of the DJGPP news group (or mailing list). As I'm a beginner on the topic in maintaining a mailing list, please be patient with me. The main goal for the new list is (maybe thats also your goal), to split a little bit all the different topics posted in comp.os.msdos.djgpp. So anyone, who wants to discuss problems only related to RHIDE itself (or only to read the articles about RHIDE) doesn't need to browse the complete DJGPP news group.
