With the help of those people I'm now able to announce a mailing list for RHIDE. This mailing list should be used by anyone who wants to share information about RHIDE independent of the operating system he uses (currently beside DJGPP there is only Linux available) and to get solved some problems. You subscribe to the mailing list only through the following URL: http://rhide.listbot.com Enter there your email where you want to get the mails from the list and enter a password for this email (this will be your user id at listbot.com). If you are already registered as member at listbot.com you may use also your existing account there. (YOUR ACCOUNT THERE IS FREE!) After you have registered yourself you will get the mails which are sent to the list and you can send also yourself mails. The address where to send mails for the RHIDE mailing list is at rhide AT listbot DOT com to get help about the list send mail to rhide-help AT listbot DOT com If you questions to the maintainer of the list (currently I) send mail to rhide-owner AT listbot DOT com Some drawbacks about the list (but I think we can live with this). 1) Each mail you get from the list will contain at the bottom some lines describing how to unsibscribe from the list That's all I can see for now. You can browse the archive also throug your web-browser at http://www.listbot.com/ Select there the "list-members" area, enter your email and password and then you can see the mail archive(s) you are subscribed. --------------------------------------------------------------- And one other advantage of the list: Only user who has joined the mailing list via http://rhide.listbot.com are allowed to send mails to the list, so we can be nearly sure to see from the list not so often a mail like From: I AT can DOT be DOT anyone To: You ReplyTo: nowhere AT bottom DOT of DOT the DOT world --------------------------------------------------------------- In the hope that this mailing list was a good idea I wish all the DJGPP folk all the best for the coming new year(s).
