DJGPP is primarily a C/C++ compiler, so to use it you'll need to learn C. I
suggest the Coronado C tutorials (do a web search for them). The book "C for
Dummies" is also supposed to be quite good (but I havn't tried it).

Everything you need to be able to compile programs is included in the
package you've downloaded. Read the readme.1st file and the FAQ.
