Please read section 9.6 of the DJGPP FAQ list (v2/faq211b.zip from the
same place you got DJGPP) and see if the information there gives you
some hints about how to solve this problem.  Specifically, setting a
larger number of PerVMFiles in SYSTEM.INI might help.
