I know it's not a DJGPP-specific question, but please see if you can help. I'm taking my first steps to creating a ray-caster (using DJGPP, of course :) and I'm stuck with trig lookup tables. See, DOOM/Wolf3D use these things called 'finesine' and 'finetangent' so that the lookup tables don't need to be re-calculated everytime the screen is resized, and I would _really_ like to know how they work. Re-calculating the tables takes a little time, so there's got to be a better way to do it, and I can't find one ! Can anyone help me please ??? Thanks in advance, and sorry once again for posting this here, Pete =:-) -- /*************** [burdock] ****************/ /* ____/| pete AT restall DOT net */ /* \ o.O| http://www.restall.net/petes/ */ /* =(_)= */ /* U [FORGET THE ABOVE URL] */ /******************************************/ /******************************* [Windoze 95] ********************************/ /* Windows 95: n.
