The support for compilation without using projects is poorly tested (Robert never uses it). In fact 1.4 have a bug that works like this: If you create default settings (rhide.g* files) the Run is grayed. Just use projects and all will work OK. > 2)Sometimes, after running a program, it simply closes the > file i've just run, and loads another file by ITSELF! I think you have 2 files with the same name located in some special directories. Each time RHIDE calls an external program saves the files under edition and after running the program checks if the file was modified and reloads it. I think that's what you call "itself". But don't know what exactly are you doing. > In some cases, the mouse cursor just disappears. > (After deleting some rhide.* files from the DJGPP dir, RHIDE > seemed to work well, but some time later, it started to produce > these strange things again...) > > Because of these odd "features", i don't really trust in RHIDE. > Did anybody experience similar things, or just me? 1) is very common, the mouse problems seems to be related to some combinations of video board + mouse driver, in my system it never happends. About 2: Try to pay attention when it happends and report it to Robert. I think 1.4.6 is currently more stable than 1.4, but you should check it.
