I went and re-added the mssdk headers and then ran your new patch against it, and ran your new patch for the specs file against the original copy of the specs file. then I xcopied the rsxntdj/patch/ld.exe into /djgpp/bin, after saving a backup copy of the one I had there. I must have missed it somehow. I already had a ld.bak in /djgpp/bin so that must have been what confused me. It compiled fine!
