Did you try the DJGPP FAQ?  Sections 17.7 and 17.8 seem to be
particularly relevant for your case.  Also, the first 8 sections of
chapter 18 should be useful.

The latest version of the FAQ is available as v2/faq211b.zip from the
same place you get DJGPP.

Btw, you should really think more about the subject lines of your 
messages.  The one you've chose for this one will hardly attract too
many people that could otherwise help you.
