I know some of you don't like reading/answering newbie questions like the ones I post. So as a courtesy i'm going to put my initials in the subject of every message, so that if you don't have the time, or don't want to be bothered by stupid questions you can just check the subject and skip over it... My initials of course being KWII which stands for Keith Weatherby II (roman numeral 2) Anyhow, I do have another question... if I have a variable that has the same name and type in two seperate functions, how can their values be the same, aren't they supposed to be different? Also i'd like to mention, i'm only posting my messages here, because the problems (or not necesserily problems) that i'm running into is because the book i'm using to learn C, has some inconsistencies with DJGPP. Generally i've found the book works pretty well with DJGPP, but there are things that come up. Anyhow I'd like to thank all the people who've responded to my previous messages. I'm sure with good programmers like you I can catch on to this stuff pretty quickly. Thanks guys!! -KWII- *Keith Weatherby II* *Uhfgood AT aol DOT com* *Vice AT gconn DOT com*
