The problem with the C for dummies book lies in the fact that the author used
borland and microsoft c compilers for the programs.  But thanks for your
warmhearted reply.                        -KWII-

p.s. C for dummies is a beginner book so maybe it doesn't show good programming
practice, but it does show how to program.
