What is the Windows >resolution of the screen (you can see it in the Control Panel/Display >applet), and what vendor is your video adapter from? > sorry if this is a repost Eli,i've yet to get the hang of it with the new setup i have I am using the RHide14b and also Sets Editor Edi0417b they both give the same problem, with screen-mode over 80x50,at this and under they both work correctly,my Windows resolution was set at 800x600-16bit,i have tried it at 640x480-256 colors, still the same prob, the video card's vendor is from Eagle,desc--a High-Performance 64Bit Video accelerator PCI Bus,it says it supports extended Vga text modes up to 132 columns x 43 rows, the driver is S3 Inc. ViRGE/DX/GX PCI I was chatting to a friend and he told me he had the same problem with modes over 80x50 when he installed Win95,he has a different video adapter than me,he suggests that it may be a Win95 problem. the drivers are dated 96-97,i have used the lastest Win95 update dated 6/Sep/97 and that has not yet solved it. many thanks for the quick reply, hope u can help out here
