That's controversial. I bet that the FSF is working on namespace support now. But C++ is changing pretty quickly lately, and a lot of the changes are very difficult to implement. Exceptions, for example, are (I've heard) extremely difficult to get right. There's bound to be a development period. --Ed (Myknees)
