DJGPP programs are capable of using long filenames under Windows 95/98, but you have to set the LFN variable in your environment to tell them that it's okay to do so: SET LFN=Y Add that line to your 'autoexec.bat', type it from the DOS prompt, or change the default setting in 'djgpp.env', and you'll be fine. -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- | John M.
