That said, if you think it should only take hex (seems reasonable to me), I will put your mod in my source. BTW there's still a nasty bug in sio_write even in my source (doesn't write:), but sio_put works as advertised. I'll probably be working on it over the weekend. Bill -- Leave others their otherness.
