AFAIK, Win98 is simply Win95 with a few patches put in, along with a few more bugs.
DOS (I think) is exactly the same as Win95's DOS, so you should have no problems
there. I use DJGPP with RHIDE in DOSBOXes, MSDOS mode etc while running the Active
Desktop and have not had any problems at all. In fact, paradoxically, it seems more
stable than the DOS systems people have been running DJGPP on.
