Amazingly enough, I almost never use Bash as my interactive shell (on
DOS and Windows).  The reasons are mostly historical, so I won't go
into them.  One reason which *is* worth to be mentioned is that I want my 
environment to be as close to that of most DJGPP users as it can get, so 
that I'd see any abnormal effects up front.
