All I have to do is man bash and less comes up with the BASH manual, but you have to have bash.1 in your info directory. Do you have a file called bash.1 [note the 1] It works fine for me. If you have trouble gettting bash.1 let me know. And I have a solid BASH installation that works with or without command.com. I owe is to help from Martin Stromberg. Would you like to see my config.sys file I use for my bash (no command.com) configuration? There is no trick to it at all if you want to work bash with command.com. Ralph
