Yes 3Dfx has it's faults, but with it I can run so many more games than the
Rendition (or any other card).

My 'base' card is a ATI RAGE PRO TURBO 2x Direct 3D card, which can give
better results in some D3D games, so between them I'm on to a winner.

If you really want to check how good your card is, then I suggest the
benchmark demo final reality (found at the www.finalreality.com website).

Send me the benchmark times you get for that, and I'll show you by how much
my 3Dfx can beat it by.

The thing to wait for is DX6. The new wave of cards supporting this, will
thrash any other card on the market (including the Voodoo 2) in both speed
and graphical appearance. I just hope that we can get it running in DJGPP...
