I started to write a dialup program at one stage, but I abandoned it before it did more than send out atdt#######. I do have a Map27 (MPT1327 trunked radio PC<->radio communications protocol) implementation that shows one way of using my lib in a largish project. If you're interested in that, let me know and I'll put it on my web page (http://www.tssc.co.nz/~bcurrie/) which also has the latest version of my serial port library (I'm assuming you got it from simtel). > also one thing i noticed dialing/access the serial port in linux > is very easy(i dont have linux if i did i would'nt use djgpp)they use it > like a file handler.is there a sure fire way to do that in djgpp. I think Randy Maas (randym AT acm DOT org) has made some progress in that direction. > also to the djgpp developers why dont you people have howto > sections like djgpp-serialprogramming-HOWTO.html and etc.. Nobody's expressed an interest in writing them. Anyway, there's always the FAQ which is more like an encyclopaedia (many thanks and kudos to Eli). Bill -- Leave others their otherness.
