I use DJGPP 2.01 on a 386/387 laptop at home, and I use Solaris 2.6 on a Sun SPARCstation at work. I transfer files back and forth between the two using floppies. I am using bash as the shell on both systems. When I copy files from my DJGPP system to the floppy (using cp), my Sun sees the file and directory names in all capital letters. Is it possible to get my DJGPP setup to write "lower case" names to the floppy, or is the automatic capitalization an unavoidable DOSism? Jeff Williams
