If, when loading RHIDE from the DOS prompt, you type "RHIDE [projname]", where "projname" is anything at all, RHIDE creates two file, projname.GPR and projname.GDT. In project mode, you cannot run programs like normal. Either go to Project->Close Project each time you run RHIDE, or just delete projname.GDT and projname.GPR.
