I do know how to read other people's code and I'm used to work in a team (I have been an archwizard in a MUD for a while now, and I can say that keeping ~50 megs of source code by dozens of various people up-to-date is not an easy task). I said the Allegro source is extremely hard to follow, but by no means impossible.
