Of course a DOS word processor or drawing program would rather usless, without the modern 'dynamic data exchange'. I think that if you are planning games, or anyting geared to more advanced users that is processor intensive DOS is still great. PS: I STILL don't like DirectX as, no matter how fast they say it is, it can's compete with dos, not even with a dos box running full screen under win95!
