Once that is done, all the drawing stuff will work right out of the box. Mouse and keyboard input are a whole different kettle of fish: they will need to be rewritten from scratch. As far as the port is concerned, I haven't heard from Mark in a long time, and I don't think he is actively working on it at the moment. I'm sure he would be happy for you to get involved, though, if you want to help move it a bit closer to completion...
