I believe you have made yourself abundantly clear (and btw, it's spelled "atrocious"). You feel that GCC's inline assembly features are inherently broken. However, judging from the response to this thread, or lack thereof, there does not seem to be anyone here who shares your view. Therefore, you are wasting your time complaining about it in this forum. Either find somewhere else (this should not be construed as an invitation to begin a similar flamewar on gnu.gcc.bug), or "fix" it yourself.
