Precedence: bulk I was very disappointed to find this problem in the mail archives. I assumed it was a problem with my installation. When I downloaded "djgpp" it seemed like it was going to be just the trick. A GNU/Unix style compiler which I could run on my laptop and play with in my spare time to learn more about the GNU tool chain (we use Solaris and VxWorks here at work) and still use the latest Windows 95 for work. However with a broken "make", I can't really use it. I will be glad to help in my spare time on this, since I can repeat the problem EVERY time, but since I am only an apprentice, I will need some direction and someone to send results to. If someone already has a fix or workaround, I would like to get a hold of it. I will download the make source and try to "make make -d" as suggested (e-mail 3/16/98). Robert Finley
