Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Precedence: bulk DJGPP Community, On a wild hunch, with several 'can't find file or directory' errors pertaining to one of the library files, Libc_app.a, I found it in a subdirectory of Lib, and copied it allong with all the rest of the contents to the main lib directory, and actually got make to run on the demo program called speed, which does a speed test on my system. Cool, though I'm troubled about why rsxntdj didn't find the lib even in the sub dir. However, another error is cropping up on the make files from the rest of the gui demos excepting windowed. Here is one: D:\RSXNTDJ\SAMPLE\GUI\SOL>make grc -r sol.rc :-1: Error executing command 'cpp.exe sol.rc -o res$$cpp.res', code = 2 make.exe: *** [sol.res] Error 25 replace sol.rc with the rc files of the rest of the demos. With windowed, I get the following error: D:\RSXNTDJ\SAMPLE\GUI\WINDOWED>make gcc -Zwin32 -o test.exe test.o -lRsxio D:/rsxntdj/lib/all/libRsxio.a(read.o)(.text+0x19):fake: undefined reference to ` errno' D:/rsxntdj/lib/all/libRsxio.a(write.o)(.text+0x19):fake: undefined reference to `errno' D:/rsxntdj/lib/all/libRsxio.a(ioctl2.o)(.text+0x1b):fake: undefined reference to `errno' make.exe: *** [test.exe] Error 1 ...and finally, with demo cplus, I get the following error: D:\RSXNTDJ\SAMPLE\GUI\CPLUS>make makefile:13: *** missing separator. Stop. Progress has been made, as much to accident and guessing as anything else. I don't like stumbling around in the dark to figure this out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Be Well, Mike
