However there is on loose end I sure would like clear up--- Is there anything in the DJGPP suite that does some sort of static analysis like Lint? Does the compiler or anything else do it? If not, do you know of a free Lint somewhere? Does it matter? I downloaded CLINT V1.67 (shareware $35.00)--does anybody like this? I haven't tested it yet. I notice the Gimpel Lint is a whopping $235.00 and no free demo as far as I can tell. I can't afford this. Why is Lint or something like it never mentioned on the list? Should I give a damn about "static checking" at all? From what I have read static checking seems to be a darn good idea. Any comments one way or the other would be appreciated.
