Please post the details.  `flex.info' and `flex.inf' are the same on 
DOS.  On Windows 9X `flex.info' is a better name, that's why the package 
includes the long name.

What do you mean ``renaming it doesn't help''?  Pleasedescribe how did 
you invoke the Info reader and what error message(s) and other abnormal 
phenomena did you see.
