I have configured the computer according to the instructions in the FAQ. I am using DJGPP v2.01 and GCC 2.8.0. The problem is the incredibly long comple times (about 20 minutes) particularly when using any part of the STL (ie. lots of templates). How much difference would an extra 4MB of RAM make to the compile speed? (Actual figures would be nice if possible) David.
